Infinite Mind Co., Ltd. conducted a "Survey on Children's Learning" targeting women in their 30s and 40s living in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions (Tottori Prefecture, Shimane Prefecture, Okayama Prefecture, Hiroshima Prefecture, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Tokushima Prefecture, Kagawa Prefecture, Ehime Prefecture, and Kochi Prefecture), and has released some of the results of the 485 responses received.
In response to the question, "Which of the following skills would you like your child (elementary school student) to acquire?", we provided the following options and allowed multiple selections.
Vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, calculation skills, English, communication skills, knowledge about money and economics, programming skills, physical strength (sports), concentration, the ability to work hard with peers, and the ability to persevere and see things through

"Reading comprehension"was the highest (59.18%),"The ability to persevere and see things through"(58.76%),"Vocabulary"(57.11%),"Communication skills"(56.20%), and both were over half.
