The "social studies" that you study is a very enjoyable subject that connects to everyday life, teaching you about what is happening in the world, history, geography, and more.

today,ToyamaWe will introduce three places from here.
- Tateyama mountain range
- Kurobe Dam
- Gokayama OfGassho-zukuriRi
First of all,Tateyama mountain range.
The Tateyama mountain range, a series of 3000-meter-class mountains, has long been loved as a symbol of Toyama, with faith and reverence. As one of Japan's most famous mountains, it is visited by many climbers from spring to autumn.
The "Snow Valley" is particularly famous and is a wonderful spot where you can see snow piled up like a wall.

next,Kurobe DamI'd like to introduce_______
Kurobe Dam is one of the most famous dams in Japan and its enormous structure is truly impressive.
A popular attraction at Kurobe Dam is the tourist water discharge. The sight of more than 10 tons of water per second gushing out from the highest point in Japan is spectacular. The observation deck, outside stairs, and new observation plaza are all great viewing points. From the Rainbow Terrace in particular, you can get a close-up look at the water discharge, which turns into a fine mist depending on the wind direction. On sunny days, a beautiful rainbow forms over the water discharge.
FinallyGokayama Gassho-style Village.
Gokayama Gassho-style Village is a historic village that is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The houses lined up have unique roof shapes, giving visitors a taste of traditional Japanese scenery and a feel for good old Japanese culture.

Find these places on a paper map, on the internet, or even visit them in person someday.
So, stay tuned for next time!
