“The Colorful Friends“
むかしむかし、ある楽しい世界に、リリーとティミーという2人のともだちがいました。
Once upon a time in a playful world, there were two friends, Lily and Timmy.
ふたりはいろとりどりのおもちゃで遊び、いろんなおはなしを分かち合うことが大好きでした。
They both loved to play with their colorful toys and share stories.
ある晴れた日、彼らは一緒に美しい大きな虹を描くことに決めました。
One sunny day, they decided to paint a big, beautiful rainbow together.
ティミーは言いました。
「男の子も女の子も何でもできるよね。男の子も女の子もなんでもできるってことを輝く虹を描いてあらわしてみよう。」
Timmy said, “Boys and girls can do anything, and we’ll make this rainbow shine for everyone.”
二人は虹を笑顔で描きました。それぞれの色が、自分たちのように明るく幸せなものになるように描きました。
As they painted, they giggled and made sure each color was bright and happy, just like them.
男の子と女の子は一緒に素晴らしいものを作り出すことができること、男の子も女の子もみんな特別で平等であることをあらわす絵が完成しました。
When they finished, they realized that together, boys and girls could create amazing things, showing that everyone is special and equal in their own way.
そしてこの友情の虹は、楽しい世界にいるすべてのこどもたちにとって、愛と平等のシンボルになりました。
And so, the rainbow of friendship became a symbol of love and equality for all the children in their joyful world.
