“Harvest of Happiness“
ある小さな町では、仕事があまりありませんでした。みんな仕事を探していました。
In a small town, not many people had jobs. Everyone wanted to work.
若い少年レオは、あることを思いつきました。
A young boy, Leo, had an idea.
レオは農業が大好きでした。彼は自分の庭でたくさんの野菜を育てていました。
Leo loved farming. He grew lots of vegetables in his backyard.
「この野菜を売れたらいいな」と思いました。
“Maybe I can sell these,” he thought.
彼は家の外に小さなテーブルを置きました。
He set up a small table outside his house.
レオは道行く人たちに新鮮な野菜を売りました。
Leo sold his fresh vegetables to people passing by.
やがて、他の町の人たちがレオの小さなテーブルを見ました。
Soon, other townspeople saw Leo’s small table.
他の町の人たちも野菜や果物を育て始めました。
They started growing their own vegetables and fruits.
レオはみんなに農業の方法を教えました。
Leo showed them how to farm.
毎週、テーブルが増えていきました。
Every week, more tables appeared.
町の広場はカラフルな屋台でいっぱいになりました。
The town square filled with colorful stalls.
みんなはとれたものや手作りの品物を売りました。
People sold their harvest and homemade goods.
このマーケットのおかげで町は忙しくも楽しい場所になりました。
This market made the town busy and cheerful.
みんなはお金を稼ぎ、自分たちの仕事に誇りを持てました。
Everyone earned money and felt proud of their work.
マーケットが成長するにつれて、町も栄えました。
As the market grew, the town thrived.
レオはうれしくなりました。自分が大好きな農業が町を成長させる手助けになったのです。
Leo was happy. His love for farming had helped his town grow.
